Eye Wash Solution

GENERIC NAME: ELECTROLYTE (e-lek-TROE-lite) SOLUTION

COMMON USES: This medicine is an electrolyte solution used to irrigate the eye during surgery. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

HOW TO USE THIS MEDICINE: This medicine is usually administered at your doctor's office, hospital, or clinic. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have about this medicine. TO PREVENT GERMS from entering your medicine, do not touch the applicator tip to any surface, including your eye. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE if it changes color or is cloudy. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light. Keep the container tightly closed.

CAUTIONS: Follow the directions provided by your doctor for post-surgical care.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS: NO COMMON SIDE EFFECTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED with the proper use of this medicine. If you notice any unusual effects, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
